Crump and Nichols’ family will hold a 5 pm CT news conference
MEMPHIS, Tenn. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump will hold a news conference today on the announcement by Attorney General Merrick Garland that the five officers (Justin Smith, Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr) have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their role in the death of Tyre Nichols.
