OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (Oct. 7, 2026) – Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump released a statement after President Donald Trump told reporters that his administration is “looking into” the death of Nolan Wells. Sunday marks 100 days since Wells disappeared during a Fourth of July boat trip to Horn Island and was later found dead.
Attorney Crump released the following statement:
“Sunday will mark 100 days since we have been looking into the death of Nolan Wells, so when President Trump responds to news reporters that ‘we’re looking into it,’ we believe that carries more weight than the response given by the FBI. Our team stands ready to work with the federal government to ensure Nolan’s death is investigated to the fullest extent.”
