Gabrielle Higgins became an associate at the Ben Crump Law Firm in 2023, bringing with her a deep commitment to justice and a focus on amplifying the voices of the disenfranchised. With a background as a former public defender, Attorney Higgins passionately advocated for numerous clients in both felony and misdemeanor trial divisions, with her litigation experience and compassion forming the foundation of her practice.
Gabrielle Higgins earned her juris doctorate from the distinguished Howard University School of Law. During her time in law school, she served as a student attorney in the Fair Housing Clinic, representing clients in DC Landlord Tenant Court. Additionally, she joined the Howard Law Journal as a staff editor and worked as a legislative police fellow for DC’s Office of the Student Advocate, connecting students and their families with resources to promote educational equity.
Raised in South Florida to Jamaican immigrants, Attorney Higgins was instilled with a passion for service from an early age. Currently, she holds a position on the executive board of the TJ Reddick Bar Association and serves as the assistant coach for the championship-winning Fort Lauderdale High School Mock Trial Team. These roles reflect her ongoing commitment to community and advocacy.
