Paul is well-versed in multi-district litigation (MDL), having served on plaintiffs’ steering committees for lawsuits involving mass casualty events such as the West Fertilizer Plant Explosion and the Astroworld Festival tragedy. He also handles civil rights cases related to law enforcement excessive use of force, injury, and wrongful death while in custody.
In the realm of business clients, Paul boasts vast experience in litigating commercial disputes covering breach of contract, fiduciary duty, director and officer liability, and employment claims. Notably, he served as litigation and trial counsel for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club and related entities for over 18 years, handling a spectrum of matters inside and outside the courtroom, including class action, contract, injury, and employment claims. Paul has also represented the National Football League (NFL) in claims involving contract, construction, civil rights, and weather-related events.
