Theresa Hooper Patterson is of counsel for Ben Crump Law in Memphis. She was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, where her parents taught at Florida A&M University for 30 years. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, and an honors graduate of the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphrey School of Law, where she was a member of Law Review. After gaining a few years of experience at the law firm of Hanover, Walsh, she began her own practice in 1994, and has built a career as a successful solo practitioner, primarily in the areas of family law, personal injury and probate.
With more than 27 years of experience, she prides herself on giving practical advice, and on her ability to explain the complexities of the law to clients from all walks of life. She has served as past president and newsletter editor of the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association. She is also a 25-year member of the Links Incorporated, Memphis Chapter. She is proud to join the Ben Crump Law team, and to continue the fight for justice and fairness for all.
