Zenobia Waters is of counsel at Ben Crump Law in Atlanta. She is the founder and CEO of The Waters Firm, P.C A native of Albany, Georgia, she began her legal career under the effective mentoring of attorney Willie Gary, leader of the firm of Gary, Williams, Finney, Lewis, Watson & Sperando, P.L. in Stuart, Florida.
She spent four years with the firm, during which time she gained invaluable knowledge and experience representing clients in personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
In addition to her time at the Gary firm, Ms. Waters has worked with and was mentored by some of the nation’s most notable attorneys, including the late Charles A. Mathis, Jr., and the late Johnnie Cochran, both outstanding jurists who reached pinnacles of success enjoyed by few in the legal industry. In 1995, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and ultimately started her own firm and focused her practice primarily on personal injury, corporate, business, and entertainment law.
Ms. Waters spent many years behind the scenes in the political arena and has provided legal representation to many politicians: mayors, a county CEO, sheriffs and many other county and state political officials. During Vice President Al Gore’s presidential campaign she was appointed to serve as one of his surrogate speakers covering several states. She continued to stay involved in the political arena, serving as a delegate from Georgia during several Democratic National Conventions. She has also served on campaigns for local judges and Congresspersons in the State of Georgia.
Ms. Waters is also a sought-after motivational speaker who has given speeches at several school, civic, corporate, and church events. In addition, she is an ordained minister and enjoys teaching on the spiritual level.
Ms. Waters is the proud daughter of the late George Waters III and Lizzie Waters. She has one son, Cotious Arnold II, seven siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, and GOD children. She cherishes motherhood as her most notable accomplishment.
