RALEIGH, N.C. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump of Ben Crump Law and the family of Darryl Tyree Williams will hold a press conference on Thursday, February 16 to call on manslaughter charges for the Raleigh police officers who tased him before his death after he told them he had heart problems. Crump and Williams’ family also call for the officers’ firing, as well.
Immediately following the news conference, the family, Attorney Crump, and community activists will lay a wreath where Darryl was killed.
