LOS ANGELES, Calif. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump of Ben Crump Law and co-counsel Levi McCathern will hold a news conference with Reggie Bush to announce the reinstatement of the 2005 Heisman Memorial Trophy to Bush.
After one of the most legendary performances in college football history, Bush was stripped of his University of Southern California record, declared ineligible, and subsequently had to forfeit his Heisman Trophy due to findings from a flawed investigation by the NCAA.
Attorneys Crump and McCathern, on behalf of Bush, filed a defamation lawsuit against the NCAA.
