LOS ANGELES, Calif. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump and co-counsel Bradley Gage will announce a $4 million settlement on behalf of the family of Rob Adams, a 23-year-old Black man who was killed by a San Bernardino police officer on July 16, 2022.
Adams was shot six times in the parking lot of a medical center in San Bernadino after being approached by two police officers. He was immediately chased to the corner of the building where multiple shots were fired, one entering his back. Adams was later transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after. A video reconstruction of the incident, created by 3D Forensic, Inc., will be presented at the conference to demonstrate what occurred.
