ORLANDO, Fla. Mitchell remains in a coma and on life support after suffering life-threatening injuries in OPD custody.
Mitchell’s family is demanding answers after he arrived at a detention facility on March 28 with catastrophic injuries and later slipped into a coma, raising urgent questions about what happened during his arrest and transport. The family says they have been left in the dark while their loved one fights for his life.
At the news conference, Mitchell’s family and their attorneys will demand the immediate release of all body-worn and dash camera footage and full transparency about the events that left Mitchell critically injured. The legal team will also call for accountability and a thorough, independent investigation.
