Witnesses attest Fawaz begged for his medication to be given to him, but jail staff denied him
LOUIS, Ill. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump and co-counsel Richard Banks will hold a Tuesday news conference to announce the filing of a claim with the Illinois Court of Claims for the death of Zareef Fawaz, who died in custody at Madison County Jail in May 2024.
