ALTADENA, Calif. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump and co-counsel Anne Andrews will hold a Thursday news conference to announce the filing of a third wrongful death lawsuit against Southern California Edison (SCE) for its role in the devastating California wildfires and resulting deaths. The lawsuit alleges that SCE failed to turn off utilities despite dangerous conditions, leading to catastrophic consequences.
Immediately following the news conference, attorneys will host a community town hall for other impacted residents, providing vital resources, including FEMA guidance, insurance support, and help in locating missing loved ones. Free meals will be available for attendees, and a Zoom webinar will be accessible for those unable to attend in person.
