ORLANDO, Fla. (November 14, 2025) –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump, who represents the family of Gerald Neal, issued the following statement after the State Attorney’s Office announced it will not file criminal charges against Orlando Police Officer Christopher Moulton:
“Gerald Neal was an innocent bystander who died during a police pursuit that began over an unreadable license plate. A decision not to prosecute does not make this acceptable policing, nor does it answer the many questions Gerald’s family and this community still have. We will continue to pursue every legal avenue to secure accountability and ensure Gerald’s family receives the justice they deserve.”
