Crump will hold a Monday news conference with Angela’s family and faith leaders
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump has been retained by the family of Angela Carr, a 52-year-old Black woman killed by the racially-motivated shooter who fatally shot three in a Jacksonville Dollar General near Edward Waters University, the local HBCU.

“Hate is toxic, destructive and deadly. Three families and an entire community are facing the devastating impacts of hate without bounds. This senseless and violent act is the latest in a long series of reminders that words drive ideology which give rise to actions, unspeakable actions — and we all pay the price.”
