ORLANDO, Fla. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump will join with the family of Derek Diaz on July 8 to demand that the video be released in the Orlando Police Department shooting death of 26-year-old Derek Diaz.
Diaz was stopped due to suspected drug use and police allege he was armed, but no firearm was recovered from the scene. Diaz died from his injuries shortly after he was shot.
