A lawsuit was filed in January against Vista Medical Center as a result of Chelsea’s tragic death.
Adolphus died from hypothermia after being found on the roof of Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, Illinois. Despite being at a healthcare facility, she was discovered seven hours after leaving her room, wearing only a hospital gown, and with a body temperature of just 50 degrees.
