PASADENA, Calif. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump will join Reverend Al Sharpton for a memorial service and rally for the victims of the Los Angeles-area wildfires, an event organized by the National Action Network.
At least 29 residents have lost their lives since the wildfires ignited on January 7, and at least 6,000 homes were destroyed. Attorney Crump represents the families of several local residents killed in the fires, including Evelyn McClendon, Erliene Kelley, and Rodney Nickerson.
