MEMPHIS, Tenn. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump will provide an update on the Ramon McGhee case and release photos showing the 42-year-old’s condition when he was found unresponsive and covered in lice and bed bugs at the Shelby County Jail.
McGhee, an inmate at Shelby County Jail, was transported to the hospital after being found unresponsive on January 10. He would later die at the hospital on January 12. Family members reported that McGhee was covered in large amounts of lice and bed bugs when arriving at the hospital.
