PHILADELPHIA. (March 10, 2026) – Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump will bring his Worse Than a Lie book tour to Philadelphia for a special community discussion and book signing event. Worse Than a Lie, Crump’s debut novel, has been recently named to the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists.
Crump will be joined by Tamala Edwards of 6ABC Action News for a moderated conversation about the themes of justice, truth, and accountability explored in the novel, as well as Crump’s decades-long work advocating for civil rights and equal justice.
Philadelphia leaders including Mayor Cherelle Parker will offer remarks during the program. The event will also feature an introduction by Harold Epps and closing remarks from Monique Moore Pryor.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from Crump about the inspiration behind the book and participate in an audience Q&A, followed by a book signing. Copies of Worse Than a Lie will be available for purchase onsite.
