Crump partners with Robeson Co. Housing Authority to provide groceries to single parents
LUMBERTON, N.C. –– The kickoff for the Ben Crump SPINN Feeding Initiative (BCFI), an initiative started by renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump of Ben Crump Law and retired Air Force veteran Vanessa Riley Harris, Executive Director and Founder of (SPINN), will take place on Sunday, May 19. More than 1,000 bags of groceries will be distributed to single-parent families at the event.
Media are invited to attend a brief news conference at the Robeson Co. Housing Authority ahead of the distribution.
Following the event, there will be a screening of CIVIL, a Netflix documentary that chronicles Crump and his civil rights work. The screening will take place at 5 pm ET at St. Mary Holiness Church – 69 Chambers St., Lumberton, NC 28348.
