MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Jan. 6, 2026) –– The Memphis community will gather with the family of Tyre Nichols, represented by nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump, on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, to commemorate Nichols’ life with a candlelight vigil on the third anniversary of his death following a violent encounter with Memphis police.
The vigil will be held at Castlegate Lane, where Nichols was beaten, honoring his memory and the life he lived as a loving son and a cherished presence in his community.
