JACKSON, Miss. –– Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump and the family of Rasheem Carter will hold a news conference on Thursday, May 11 to discuss the discovery of new remains located near where other sets of remains were found that have been positively identified as belonging to Rasheem Carter.
The family is awaiting notification from Mississippi officials on whether or not this most recent set of remains belongs to Rasheem Carter. The family was sent bystander video footage of the remains being discovered by authorities, which will be released at the news conference.
