Livingston was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life for killing Alvin Motley Jr.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — National civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump, who represents the family of Alvin Motley Jr., has released a statement following today’s verdict.
Alvin Motley Jr. was killed by Livingston, a security officer, over loud music in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was visiting family. Livingston was also a former police officer. He was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
